Write For Us

Write for WearableZone! We're always accepting guest submissions for articles about wearable technology and device reviews.

Want To Submit A Guest Post To WearableZone?

WearableZone always welcomes guest submissions.

We’re looking for articles about wearable technology, ranging from wearables in healthcare to the latest developments in virtual reality. We’re also interested in device reviews for wearables we haven’t yet covered.

But before submitting, please review this page to understand what we’re looking for — and how to send it.

Types Of Posts On WearableZone

Successful guest posts are thought-provoking and unique. Take a look at our articles for an idea of what we cover — but know that we’re interested in anything related to wearable technology.

If you want to write about something related to wearables, we have a home for it.

We look for the following traits in everything we publish:

  • Original, compelling, high-quality writing. We don’t republish content
  • Proper attribution of data and outside sources
  • Clear, informative content written for the everyday consumer. We aren’t a technical journal — we’re a publication for people who love and are interested in wearables and technology
  • For device reviews: Clearly stated specs that illustrate the pros and cons of the device

We won’t accept anything that we’ve covered before, and we won’t publish anything that isn’t fact-checked and properly attributed. Read articles on WearableZone before submitting.

How To Submit Your Pitch

You can submit a completed draft or a pitch for an article idea. Please email rebecca[dot]paredes[at]thecontrolgroup[dot]com with the following information:

For general articles:

  • In the subject line, write “PITCH” and the title of your article
  • Attach your completed draft as a Google Doc (preferred) or Word Doc
  • If you don’t have a draft, keep your pitch brief and clear
  • In the body of the email, introduce yourself with a short author bio and links to social media accounts
  • If you want specific images in your article, include them as attachments and attribute them in your article

For device reviews:

  • DON’T write your review first. Send a pitch to make sure we aren’t already covering the device
  • In the subject line, write “PITCH” and the device you want to review
  • In the body of the email, introduce yourself with a short author bio and links to social media accounts
  • Explain whether you have the device (or when you will receive it). NOTE: We cannot send you a device to review
  • If your pitch is accepted, you’ll receive a review guidelines document with a template to follow

If you follow these guidelines, you’ll hear back from us within two weeks. WearableZone reserves the right to edit your article for clarity, grammar, punctuation, and style.
